Tunnel inlet doors make sense and save dollars!

Now is the season to look at updating your tunnel inlet curtain.  With today's new tunnel doors, you can be assured of energy savings in the winter and a better airflow pattern in the other seasons.  These doors replace the existing inlet curtain with a solid door (some rated to R-10) to save energy.  Using a tunnel inlet door will also allow you to mount an evaporative cooling pad directly on the side of the poultry house.  This can save money spent on a 'dog house', and the savings realized may be invested in tunnel doors instead.  We think this is a great idea for both new housing and retrofit!  A link to the Chore-Time manual for tunnel inlet doors is located here.
